About Elizabeth Rodgers

I’m an award-winning filmmaker as well as a novelist, screenwriter, essayist, documentarian, and travel writer whose work has reached audiences through film festivals and educational television worldwide.

I’ve developed screenplays and teleplays for Showtime, Carsey-Werner, and Paramount Pictures, among others — mostly comedies. I’ve received grants from state humanities councils and arts councils as well as private foundations. I’ve also been commissioned to create mini-docs about fellow artists, which is one of my favorite things to do.

I’m currently finishing a YA historical fiction novel based on my documentary, Exodus 1947. Stay tuned . . .
